Some Abstract Green Type!

First day with fridge shut down

I've been reading blogs about people doing the same thing, and how they organize food. For the next few weeks it's going to be OK I think. The problem is that there is more waste! Luckily, I live in Germany were most is getting recycled one way or the other.

To complicate things further, I'm still on my diet and I have to be careful with what I'm eating. Basically, I have to drink more beer in the evening to compensate the lack of food. Which, is.. euh.. good.. But I'll have another soup now!

Switched off the fridge

Last week, before traveling to Eindhoven (NL), I switched of my fridge so I can clean it when I come back. Today, I decided to take it further and keep it switched off. Reading a bit online, I saw lots of folks had the same idea and I found already some tips about how to do it without refrigeration.

Actually, it's probably not going to be that hard for me: it was most of the time 95% empty! If you think about it, even when the fridge is already good conserving energy, it's basically running for nothing. Also, it's making annoying noise.

So, lets shut it down, and see how it goes.

Green?

This blog will be about stuff I do to limit my ecological footprint. I'm already pretty good at it, but I'm sure I can do better without becoming to radical.

Why the blog is not colored green? Why the hell should it be green!? It's not about the freaking color! I like blue more. BTW, my main blog is colored green already.
